The Pregnancy Retreat

Honoring the End of "Just Us" to Welcome the Family

The transition to parenthood is a massive identity threshold. Are you ready to cross it?

When you are expecting a child, the medical world focuses entirely on physical safety. Society focuses on the logistics: the pram, the nursery, the sleep schedules, and the baby showers.

But biologically and psychologically, a birth is a profound disruption of the self. The transition to parenthood is often a survival-mode shock simply because we fail to mark this massive shift in our identity.

The Pregnancy Retreat is a sanctuary designed to change that. Created for expectant parents (or single parents and their chosen support guide), this intimate three-day experience provides the space to consciously grieve who you have been, so you can cleanly, joyfully, and purposefully welcome who you are becoming.

Who Is This For?

This retreat is specifically designed for expectant parents in their 2nd or 3rd trimester. Whether you are welcoming your first child and facing the great unknown, or you are seeking to approach a subsequent birth with greater intention and connection, this space is for you.

Please note: To maintain deep intimacy and connection, this retreat is strictly limited to 8 - 10 pairs.

The Arc of the Experience: A 3-Day Journey

Our retreat flows through a carefully designed three-day arc, guiding you from the threshold of your current reality into the foundation of your emerging family.

Day 1: HELLO (The Transition of the Couple)
We meet you at the edge of the threshold. On our first day together, we map your current relationship and unpack the "childhood maps" you are unknowingly carrying into parenthood. We create a safe space to say hello to your deepest fears, your greatest excitements, and the profound changes happening in your bodies and minds.

Day 2: I LOVE YOU (The Reality of the Shift)
Parenthood changes everything. Today, we explore the hard, unspoken truths of this transition: the renegotiation of sex and intimacy, the redistribution of household labor, and the mourning of spontaneous freedom. Guided by qualified clinicians and renowned facilitator Stuart L. Morris, we will help you establish a "family contract of care." You will learn vital tools for how to ask for help and, most importantly, how to repair after conflict.

Day 3: GOODBYE (Releasing the Fantasy Parent)
On our final day, we say a conscious goodbye to the "idealized, perfect parent" found in the manuals and on social media. We gently release the single self and the uninterrupted partnership of your past. Together, we will design your first-year family rituals, closing with a powerful, beautiful ceremony of commitment to your newly emerging family.
